About NASHIM
Our Mission
The Nagasaki Association for Hibakushas’ Medical Care (NASHIM) was founded in 1992 to provide aid to Japanese atomic bombing victims living abroad as well as victims of radiation exposure incidents around the world.
In order to use Nagasaki’ s medical achievements toward atomic bomb survivors and research on radiation damage effectively in the medical care of radiation exposure victims, NASHIM conducts training programs for doctors and other medical professionals from overseas as well as publishes and donates technical books related to the medical care of radiation victims in an effort to contribute to global medicine and cooperate with the international community through the medical care of radiation victims.
*NASHIM is an acronym for Nagasaki Association for Hibakushas’ Medical Care.
